Apply to drive with Connect 48. This is the full application required by the U.S. Department of Transportation (49 CFR 391.21).

Before you start, have these ready

Your driver's license(s) from the past 3 years — number, class and expiration date
Your addresses for the past 3 years
Employers for the past 3 years (and, for CDL drivers, any driving jobs in the 7 years before that): name, address, phone, dates
Dates of any accidents or traffic tickets in the past 3 years
Your Social Security number

It takes about 20–30 minutes. Your answers are saved as you go, so you can stop and come back on the same device, or email yourself a link to continue on another one.
